Sucralose is the non calorie
High Intensity Sweetener (HIS) made from sugar, with
a sweetness about 600 times the strength of sugar, its
sweet taste is pure and quite similar to sugar without
any unpleasant aftertaste.
One of the unique attributes of sucralose is that it
can be used almost anywhere sugar is used. It is stable
under heat and over a broad range of pH conditions.
Sucralose is used as a sugar substitute for, or in combination
with, other artificial or natural sweeteners such as
aspartame, acesulfame potassium or high-fructose corn
syrup. Sucralose is widely used in beverages, baked
goods, confections, chewing gum, desserts, cheeses,
dairy products, processed fruits/vegetables/meat, syrups
and condiments.
Sucralose does not result in obesity.
Sucralose does not lead to the fluctuation of blood
sugar degree, and is suitable for diabetic patient.
It can not be metabolized in the mouth or dissolved
by enzyme, so will not cause tooth decaying.
